At Synergy Dance, we strive to bring the most cutting-edge, innovative choreography to dancers across the country.  We work with dance teams, studios and individuals. As our name suggests, our goal is to collaborate with dancers of all varieties to produce the perfect storm between visionary choreography and superior dancing. Our mission is to excite and challenge dancers while helping them reach their goals, and in turn, do our part to enhance the world of dance.

Julie Berardi

Owner, Synergy Dance

 

Julie earned a B.A. in Advertising/Public Relations with a minor in Business at Penn State University and spent four years on the Division 1A, nationally ranked Penn State Lionettes Dance Team. Julie works with studios and dance teams across the country to bring them exciting and unique choreography!

Julie has performed and studied dance for the last 30 years. She received a highly technical and ballet-centered training at Oxford Center for Dance (PA) under the direction of Dina Gazzero and at Mid-Atlantic Ballet Company (DE) under the direction of Sara Taylor Neal. Julie is also trained in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, modern, tap, pom, kick and hip-hop.

In 2001, along with the Blue Lake International Ballet Ensemble, Julie toured Europe starring in an original piece by Jefferson Baum and was chosen to perform the pas de duex from Don Quixote. Julie performed lead roles such as "Lilac Fairy" from Sleeping Beauty; "Black Swan" from Swan Lake; "Snow Queen", "Dew Drop Fairy", "Clara" from the Nutcracker; and "Grande Rose" from Alice In Wonderland.

Julie graduated from Penn State University with a B.A. in Public Relations and Advertising and a Minor in Business Administration. Over the last 15 years, she has worked with nearly 100 dance teams and studios and earned multiple titles, top 5 finishes and choreography awards. She coached and choreographed for the the 3x National Champion Penn State Lionettes Dance Team from 2015-2021 and currently heads up the sprit squads at Eastern University. It gives Julie great joy to work with dancers to help them to reach their full potential and experience success!
